Remove AVG Secure Search

Avg is an antivirus that is widely used to protect data from viruses. The latest version of AVG is AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2011. You can download avg anti-virus here. If already installed, when it will open a new tab in the browser will appear avg search bar.

Avg search bar feature can make a comfortable or uncomfortable user. If you feel uncomfortable, avg search bar feature on the new tabs can be remove avg secure search by doing a few steps. The steps for remove avg secure search are :

1. Right click at the toolbar


2. Check AVG Security Toolbar


3. Select Advanced Options at AVG toolbar


4. Uncheck at "Shown AVG Secure Search search box on new tabs in the browser"


5. Finish

Remove AVG Secure Search

Your avg secure search new tabs is disable

Update

If you are using AVG Free Edition 2012 and you want to disable avg new tabs on Firefox 7. You must to remove avg new tabs add-ons on Mozilla Firefox
